What’s more rewarding than stepping out onto you What’s more rewarding than stepping out onto your balcony and picking your favourite herb to add flavour to your dishes? 🌿🪴
If you have a broad, sunny kitchen windowsill, this too could be a perfect spot to grow herbs.
Some of the easiest herbs to grow for a summer harvest are basil, parsley, mint, thyme and oregano (ideal for your favourite homemade pizza).
When growing herbs in pots, ensure the pot is large enough for the plant to grow (at least 15cm), use a premium potting mix such as Seasol Advanced Potting Mix and water the newly planted seedlings in with Seasol to aid plant establishment and healthy growth.

Murraya (Murraya paniculata), also known as orange Murraya (Murraya paniculata), also known as orange jessamine, is a tall evergreen shrub to small tree (2-4m in height) widely grown in gardens for its clusters of fragrant white flowers from spring to autumn. 🌸 🌳
With its tolerance of heat and dry conditions, murrayas have adapted well to gardens in warm temperate and subtropical Australia where the plant is often grown as an informal or formal flowering hedge. A dwarf variety, ‘Min-a-Min’, is ideal for a dwarf hedge or as a container plant.

Carrots are one of the most popular vegies in the Carrots are one of the most popular vegies in the kitchen. They are a versatile addition to many dishes and can be eaten raw or cooked. Try them in your favourite dip or whip up a carrot cake. 🥕 🧑🏼‍🌾
🥕 Carrots can be easy to grow, but often homegrown carrots are stunted or misshapen. While odd-shaped carrots are still good to eat and can be a funny sight, given the right soil structure, moisture and nutrient levels you’ll be able to grow straight, crunchy carrots.
🥕 Carrots take around 12 weeks to harvest from seed and are great to grow in the ground or a raised vegie bed.
