Grow It Local

We’ve partnered with Grow It Local to support everyday Australians growing food where they live – in backyards, balconies, schools and shared spaces. Through initiatives like the Grow It Local Awards, we help recognise the people and gardens building stronger, more connected communities through growing.

Stephanie Alexander
Kitchen Garden Foundation

We’ve partnered with SAKGF to ensure more children and young people learn where food comes from – through growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing fresh and delicious food. By supporting hands-on food education in schools and early childhood services, we’re helping nurture lifelong skills, confidence and a love of freshly grown food!

Grow It Local Awards

The GIL Awards recognise homegrown food, creativity and local impact. From wonky harvests and backyard patches to community changemakers, the awards celebrate how growing food brings people together, shares knowledge and helps build stronger, more connected communities.
