Chrysanthemum Society of Victoria – cancelled due to COVID-19 – look out for their virtual tour

All is not lost! They are madly working on a plan to hold a “Virtual show” for our Chrysanthemum growers.

Growers will be invited to submit photographs, criteria to be advised, these will be judged by a qualified chrysanthemum judge and the results published on our facebook page and website.

It’s a work in progress, and so more details to follow.

Yarra Valley Autumn Plant Fair & Garden Expo – Wandin

Come and wander around over 1,000 plant varieties from specialist growers and you are sure to find some beauties for your home & garden. There will be a collection of peonies, roses, exotic herbs, succulents, indoor, bulbs, grafted natives, bamboo, rare perennials and trees and much more.

There are displays and demonstrations on garden tools, food and local wine and beer.

The guest speaker is Stephen Ryan – rate plant expert and regular gardening radio presenter.

Wagner’s Rose Nursery Open Day – changed to a virtual open day due to COVID-19

In place of there now cancelled Open Day for 2020, Wagner’s Rose Nursery will hold a Virtual Open Day, inviting everyone Australia-wide to join Brian and Benedetta for their live virtual tour of the nursery on their Facebook page, and Cindy Cross for a virtual workshop on how to prepare a bouquet and a floral arrangement with your roses.
