The bright bold colours of Tuberous begonias add a sense of fun to any outdoor area. These easy to grow plants will thrive in protected outdoor living areas requiring minimal care for continuous colour displays. As the name suggests these particular varieties of begonia develop a tuber and will die back in the cooler months lying dormant for the cooler months, so don’t be alarmed when the older leaves of the plant go yellow in May. Regular liquid fertiliser for flowering plants and pruning of spent flowers will ensure continual flowers. Plants will grow best in glazed or terracotta pots or bowls planted into premium potting mix.
