Burra Garden’s & Expo

This year the ‘Spring into Burra‘ events will be held over the two days. There will be a series of talks by Sophie Thomson (ABC Gardening Australia), Karen Montgomery (k_space garden designs) and Trevor Nottle (Open Gardens SA). Come wander through a hall filled with almost everything to do with gardening – products, plants, tools, art work and sculptures, conservation and environmental groups and school children’s projects.

All of the plants for sale will be those best suited to growing in the local soils and climate, including herbs, irises, trees, shrubs, perennials and bulbs, and porch plants. Visitors will also be able to obtain tickets which give entry to a diverse array of gardens in and around the town, and in nearby towns. Included among them are Princess Royal Station homestead and the Gardens of the Stone Arranger.

For more information, please phone Helen Carmody ( 0427 267 766) or Sharon Austin (0429845703) or visit http://www.visitburra.com/events/burra-gardens-expo
